About Neon8
Kelman
Greig-Kicks
Kelman is a seasoned multimedia creative with 25 years of experience spanning publishing, music, TV, education, video production, and now virtual reality.
Driven by curiosity and a passion for storytelling, his career highlights include performing at international music festivals, composing for BBC Scotland and Channel 4 documentaries, and earning certifications as a Pro Tools Instructor and Adobe Expert. Today, Kelman explores the cutting edge of VR filmmaking, continuing his lifelong journey of innovation and discovery.
Though this makes him sound like a jack-of-all-trades, sadly it does not extend to DIY skills, which are rudimentary at best. Gemma will attest to this.
Gemma
Greig-Kicks
Gemma is a freelance Producer and Arts Manager with experience across commercial and publicly funded arts, film, and the third sector. After starting in TV advertising, she transitioned to theatre management with Live Nation in London and later Edinburgh's Great Leap Forward.
Her roles have included General Manager for Lea Anderson's Cholmondeley and Featherstonehaughs, Interim Manager at Sadler's Wells, and Line Producer for More 4's Matthew Bourne's Christmas. From 2013–2016, she was General Manager of the arts-in-health charity Hearts & Minds.
Known for her strategic expertise, financial management, and love of spreadsheets, Gemma thrives on tackling complex projects. She also hides a vocal talent amongst those spreadsheets — ask nicely, though a gin usually helps.
